Portuguese for your trip — and for real life in Brazil.
This is not a textbook course. You learn what you will actually use: the bakery, the airport, the Uber, the churrasco, the meme in the group chat, the small talk at the table.
English and Spanish speakers are welcome. I teach in Portuguese. We only switch to your language when you get stuck.
Who it’s for
- You are coming to Brazil and want to arrive already speaking
- You love the culture and want the language that comes with it
- You already know some Spanish or English and want Brazilian Portuguese, not a classroom script
How classes work
Live, online, one-to-one. Each class is 40 minutes. Two or three times a week works best; single sessions are fine when you are short on time.
I was born in Bahia and raised in São Paulo. In class you get both: the warmth of the Northeast and the everyday Portuguese of the biggest city in the country.
